With two major Arab leaders addressing the United Nations General Assembly this week in New York, an Egyptian-born former Muslim claims Americans now more than ever need to understand the true agenda of Islam.

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for a “new world order,” and Egypt’s President Mohammed Morsi rejected free speech rights this week at the U.N. General Assembly.

Darwish, Nonie  Nonie Darwish, founder ofArabs for Israel and author of The Devil We Don’t Know: The Dark Side of Revolutions in the Middle East, says anti-American comments at the U.N. give rise for further concern of the growing Islamic influence around the world.

“Wherever Islam goes and … becomes a strong minority, there’s going to be a demand for sharia law,” she asserts. “If they don’t get it, they’re going to have a separatist movement, and I’m predicting England will have a Chechnya maybe in 10, 20 years. France will have a Chechnya. I hope this will never happen to America.”

Darwish, who is the daughter of an Egyptian Army lieutenant general, explains that Muslims are trained to believe two opposite ideas at the same time.

“For instance, Islam is a religion of peace. At the same time, [they] will say go kill the Jews and the Christians because we have to go conquer them, and it’s okay to do terrorism for that purpose, for that cause — for the cause of Jihad,” the Arabs for Israel founder poses.

She submits there is no such thing as moderate Islam in the Middle East, but the so-called moderates who may exist elsewhere enable radical Islamists.

Arab Spring, Obama’s Fail

Arab Spring, Obama’s Fail

U.S. embassies around the world are being attacked; American citizens’ lives are being put in danger, while the Obama Administration plays into the hands of Islamic extremists by blaming it all on an obscure film that the jihadists found to be a useful tool. The Administration is either disingenuous or has no clue as to what is happening or why. Thoughtful people everywhere shudder and wait to see if the mighty U.S. will continue to willingly play the part of Gulliver.

A Look At The Middle East

In Libya, a country filled with armed militants of every stripe (including former residents of Guantanamo Bay who may have a bone or two to pick with the U.S., and who are now on the lamb, in part, thanks to the politicization of the issue by a certain Senator from Illinois), with 9/11 approaching and the air thick with ominous rumors, we apparently saw no need to provide even basic protection for our consulate in Benghazi.

In Egypt, soldiers of the government of Muslim Brotherhood graduate, President Mohammed Morsi disappeared as “protesters” with military-level equipment, such as rocket launchers and grenade launchers, scaled the embassy wall in Cairo, destroyed the American flag, and replaced it with Al Qaeda’s.

Some would have you believe that these two events were the beginning of the mayhem. But, it would be more accurate to say that the attacks are a CONTINUATION of an ongoing campaign, as veterans of the attacks on the embassies in Tanzinia and Kenya in 1998, the U.S.S. Cole in 2000 and the World Trade Center would remind us.

I’m sure that this latest round of attacks surprised some people who hadn’t been paying attention to the world including, unfortunately, those in our own government.

Osama bin Laden: End of Story? Not Quite…

Osama bin Laden was still dead wasn’t he? End of story, right? Besides, hadn’t Obama, soon after taking office, gone to Cairo and apologized to the Muslim world (I would presume with the implicit exception of the half dozen countries where U.S. forces had saved many Muslim lives)?

The rise of radical Islam and the war on terror preceded President Obama and he is to be credited for not dismantling the anti-terror framework built by his predecessor. However, not every problem can be solved with a drone, and after four years of reckless and misguided leadership, Obama has clearly left our country in a worse place than we were four years ago. His policy has basically been to bring the troops home regardless of the facts on the ground and regardless of the sacrifice of hard won achievements.

In spite of all that we know from our past – the Carter years where our military defenses were allowed to quietly wither, and all that we have seen in the past ten days, we have a President who would then cut the military, making the mistake we have made before after tiring of conflict – mistakes that always cost lives later.

And is there really any doubt that, on our present course, Iran will be running Iraq, or that the Taliban and/or Al Qaeda will be in control of Afghanistan before long? Underlying this “strategy” is Obama’s driving principle: that he and he alone can reach the minds and melt the hearts of leaders of other nations and of those in the “street” around the world. Part of the manifest failure of this notion is playing out in the mean streets of the Middle East today and as far east as Indonesia and Pakistan. This strategy actually places us in greater danger: state actors, as well as terrorist groups, are watching, and because such a strategy projects the U.S. as weak, unsure of its vital interests and perhaps unwilling to protect them, it invites further conflict.

Our “Strategy” In Practice

Consider the Obama record BEFORE the Muslim country meltdown: Hillary Clinton clings to her “reset button” as Russia attacks Georgia, shoots down troublesome journalists in the streets and bullies the U.S. into dropping missile-defense plans, thus turning our backs on our allies Poland and the Czech Republic. Our President whispers sweet assurances of post-election flexibility in Medvedev’s ear, while Russia provides aid and U.N. cover for Iran and Syria. Incidentally, just to highlight the fact that our foreign policy is, apparently, in the hands of the supremely naïve, Secretary of State Clinton in March 2011 pronounced Syria’s Bashir Assad a “reformer” right before the slaughter began in Syria.

China, of course, is teaming with Russia in support of America’s worst enemies. Last week our traveling Secretary of State got a good dressing down from Chinese leadership because they detected that America might be siding with Japan and other East Asia allies against the Chinese takeover of islands off their coasts. From press reports it seems that Hillary promised to let the parties work it all out among themselves, despite our obvious and long-standing interests there. China is rapidly building its blue water navy, and still has hundreds of missiles pointed at Taiwan, a country we are pledged to defend. Considering the Administration’s weak-kneed approach regarding anything involving traditional American interest, and especially in light of what’s going on with Iran and Israel, do you suppose that China thinks the U.S. will ever draw any “red lines” with China? Add East Asia allies to the list of Middle East allies who are very nervous. On Sunday Congressman Mike Rodgers (R-Michigan), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee said that in his travels to the Middle East our friends in the area are worried and are asking what the Administration’s policy is and whether we are withdrawing from the international scene.

After spending an embarrassing three years practically begging the Iranians to sit down with them, the Administration finally was able to have sanctions imposed on Iran. The good news is that they seem to be hurting the Iranian economy. The bad news is that they have not done one thing to slow down the Iranians who continue to add to their centrifuges that are enriching uranium and getting closer and closer to a weapons-grade product. They have played the U.S. like a fiddle in order to buy time, the same thing Obama is now doing with Israel to get past the election. Once again our, traveling-pants-suited Secretary of State was there to put the final touch on a disastrous “policy.” We will draw no red lines with Iran, she says.

Our Naiveté Emboldens Terrorist Enablers

So our problems go beyond the terrorists to those who enable them. Countries like Iran have not only more than ample financial resources, but analytical and intelligence capabilities that allow them to help the terrorists achieve their goals, while shielding the benefactors from responsibility. Having the U.S. on the run serves their purposes. And experiencing, first hand, our weakness and naiveté emboldens them.

Remember the predictions of Obama’s economic team of the job and economic growth numbers that Obama policies would bring? What about what Obama said about the effect his Obamaness would have on the Muslim world? Historian Nial Ferguson of Harvard reminded us recently that, according to reliable polls, the US is less popular in the Middle East today than when Obama took office.

The plain fact is that this Administration no more understands the nature of our current foreign-relations problems than they do our current economic problems. In both cases almost the exact opposite of their predictions came about. Their excuse on their flawed economic analysis is that “it was much worse than we thought.” Some day some candid member of the former Obama team will be saying the same thing about America’s position in the world. Unfortunately, this time it will be true.

In a few short weeks, Americans will make the single most important decision, since we declared our independence from England, over 235 years ago. On November 6th, we the people, will vote into office, the next President and Commander In Chief of our United States Of America. Most of us know, how much is at stake, but few realize the permanency this election will have, if the wrong decision is made.

The wrong decision, will INSURE, Obama’s LIFE TIME selection of the next succeeding supreme court justices. Like Sotomayor and Kagen, they will share the same Shari’ah law apologia,as well as Obama’s progressive socialist ideology. An ideology and schools of thought, that will surely be advanced and in short order, made into law.

The wrong decision, will allow future changes in our economy. Unfair taxes on the rich, and middle class. He will expand UNFAIR collective bargaining powers to labor unions, thereby inhibiting growth, production and free enterprise. He will make changes in civil, religious and other first amendment rights. He will make changes in education, health, welfare, gun control, control of births,, changes in our military. Everything that we have fought and died for, including our constitution, will be at risk and on the table, “HIS TABLE”.

The wrong decision will allow the President to repeal Constitutional constraints on the executive branch, thereby taking away or limiting the power given to congress under the Constitution. The President will be free to do what he wants and when. Is this the America we want ? What I have described is not mere speculation, but probable reality. What makes me so sure ? (A) because he has already made some of these foretelling changes and made them WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF CONGRESS. And (B) because at least two supreme court justices, WILL MOST LIKELY, HAVE TO BE APPOINTED, ON HIS WATCH. You don’t have to be a constitutional lawyer nor do you need a degree in political science, to figure out what he intends to do and how he intends to do it. Obama wants to replace our capitalist system with SOCIALISM period ! .

Don’t be confused by thinking that because your state is traditionally, either a blue or red state, your vote won’t count. IT DOES COUNT so, if you want your candidate to win and don’t vote, you’re giving your state’s assigned ELECTORS, one less vote for your candidate, THE ELECTORS, MUST VOTE IN ACCORDANCE WITH HIS OR HER STATE’S POPULAR VOTE.

God bless America !

Closure Could be Penalty for Non-Compliance

Authorities are threatening to close a Christian school on the Muslim-majority Indonesian island of Java because of the school’s refusal to teach Islam, according to reports.

Asia News said officials in the Tegal District in central Java have told the administrators of St. Pius Catholic school that Islam must be taught to the Muslim students or the school will face closure.

“The situation is critical because the sisters of the St Pius Catholic Schools have received threats and warnings, including the threat of having their schools shut down if they do not comply with the requests,” the report said.

Ryan Morgan, Southeast Asia analyst for the Christian human rights group International Christian Concern, says religion is required in the island nation’s schools.

“Religious education is compulsory in Indonesian schools, but there isn’t a law actually saying that Islam must be the religion taught,” Morgan said.

“Typically the few Christian schools teach Christianity, so I don’t believe that the officials of this particular school district have any legal justification when they started threatening St. Pius Catholic School and demanding they teach Islam,” Morgan said.

However, Morgan said that the law hasn’t stopped local officials.

“Sadly, not having legal backing in Indonesia doesn’t always stop radical Islamic groups from getting their way,” Morgan said.

Morgan said the threats are local, but there’s no information on whether the case could be taken to the national government.

Officials at the Indonesian embassy in Washington did not respond to WND’s request for comment.

Morgan cites the recent church closure case to illustrate the point.

“Case in point is the GKI Yasmin church of Jakarta, which has been forced out of its building and is being told to relocate by the city’s mayor even though Indonesia’s Supreme Court ruled back in January of 2011 that they could stay in their current location,” Morgan said.

Indonesia has seen its share of strife between its Christian minority and Muslims.

WND reported in July that Muslim terror groups were gearing up for a new attack.

A report from Indonesia said terrorist groups in the island nation are regrouping, but they are keeping the bull’s-eye on the country’s Christians.

The International Crisis Group says that because of police intervention, the jihadis are mobile and reorganizing “on the run.”

WND also reported in 2010 that Indonesia’s Muslim militias were preparing for a “religious war.”

Muslim mobs in the Jakarta suburb of Bekasi then were forming small militia bands to stop what they say is the Christianization of the town, a few miles east of Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital.

The actions came in response to Christians privately baptizing about a half-dozen Muslim converts to Christianity.

Is Obama Considering Releasing the World Trade Center Bomber?

Is Obama Considering Releasing the World Trade Center Bomber?

By Bobby Eberle September 20, 2012 7:13 am
This is absolutely unbelievable. Americans were yet again the victims of terrorist actions in Libya, and it is clear that attacks were coordinated and calculated. But now we learn that another terrorist, the one responsible for the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center is a candidate for possible release by the Obama administration.

He is known as the Blind Sheikh, but his real name is Omar Abdel-Rahman. If that name sounds vaguely familiar, it should. Here’s the report from The Washington Times:

The Obama administration is reportedly in talks with Egypt’s government to transfer convicted terrorist Omar Abdel-Rahman back to his home country. This would be a major foreign-policy blunder and an insult to the counterterrorism professionals who put the terror leader behind bars.

Rahman, known as the “Blind Sheikh,” was the leader of the terrorist group Al-Gama’a al-Islamiya, which conducted a series of attacks in Egypt in the early 1990s. Rahman was in exile in New York at the time, preaching at mosques, fundraising, building a radical following and conspiring to create mayhem in America. Rahman and nine of his acolytes were arrested after the February 1993 World Trade Center bombing. In 1996, he was sentenced to life in prison for his part in the plot.

Securing Rahman’s freedom is a cause celebre among Islamists. The “Abdel Rahman Brigades” have mounted a series of attacks in his name in Libya and may have motivated the Sept. 11 murder of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. The Blind Shiekh’s family organized the demonstration outside the U.S. embassy in Cairo on the same day during which a mob breached the embassy perimeter, tore down the American flag and raised the black banner of jihad. The pre-planned event was billed as, “The real terrorist — America or Omar Abdel Rahman?”

Can this really be happening? Several members of the U.S. House think so. In a letter to Sec. of State Hillary Clinton and Attorney General Eric Holder, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith along with seven others stated their concern about the possible release of Abdel-Rahman.

While considerations regarding the blind sheikh’s release would be disturbing in any context, they are particularly alarming given recent events. The 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks was marked by the assassination of America’s ambassador to Libya and an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Egypt. The violence in Egypt has been attributed, in part, to that government’s demands for the blind sheikh’s release.

Succumbing to the demands of a country whose citizens threaten our embassy and the Americans serving in it would send a clear message that acts of violence will be responded to with appeasement rather than strength. The blind sheikh should remain in federal prison.

The release of Abdel-Rahman or any terrorist who plots to kill innocent Americans would be seen for what it is — a sign of wekness and lack of resolve by the Untied States and its President.

As reported at Front Page Magazine, “On September 10, the day before terrorists assaulted the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, Abdel-Rahman’s terrorist organization demanded the release of the Blind Sheikh and all detainees in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.” In addition, it appears talks have been going on for some time regarding the release of this terrorist:

The Arabic language newspaper al-Arabiya reported more than six months ago that the Obama administration offered to send Abdel-Rahman to Egypt as part a prisoner swap. Called the “Emir of Jihad” by some, Abdel-Rahman is a spiritual leader to al Qaeda and other militant Islamist groups. He would almost certainly be hailed on his return to Egypt as a conquering hero for attacking America, the “Great Satan.”

This is Barack Obama’s response to terror and violence around the world? The possible release of a known, convicted terrorist? This man can’t be reelected! He should not have been elected in the first place.

The collapse of the Obama strategy against radical Islamists

The collapse of the Obama strategy against radical Islamists

By: Newt Gingrich

The real meaning of the violence of the last week across the Muslim world is the bankruptcy and collapse of the Obama strategy which began with his speech in Cairo. President Obama had a deep conviction that pandering to Islamic sympathies, identifying with the virtues of Islam and parroting phrases that sounded good would lead to a deeper acceptance of the United States by Muslims.

While reaching out to “mainstream Muslims,” the Obama strategy would wage selective war against designated enemies. The Obama administration decided to ignore concerns of sovereignty and to kill terrorists with stepped up drone attacks.

It apparently did not occur to the Obama team that the enemy could and would react.

The killing of the American ambassador to Libya was apparently a direct retaliation for the American killing in Pakistan of a Libyan senior al Qaeda commander. The Obama administration has desperately sought to spin all the violence as caused by one hostile anti-Muslim movie.

Once again Obama and the elite media blame America for the hostility of others. In their ideology it is much safer for America to be the bad guys. Then we can excuse the violence, the attack on embassies, the burning of the American flag, the destruction of American businesses and American schools. In the Obama-elite media worldview that is all somehow the result of American provocation.

“If only some American hadn’t made a bad movie, everything would be ok,” is the view the Obama administration and the elite media has exuded.

There are three things profoundly wrong with this analysis.

1. The Libyans reject it as a matter of fact.

2. It confuses excuse with cause.

3. It suggests a solution which would subordinate American civilization to Islamic supremacists.

First, al Qaeda has asserted the attack on the American ambassador to Libya was a revenge killing. Senior Libyan officials have rejected the idea that the Benghazi violence was caused by the anti-Muslim film. They see no relationship between the Egyptian riots against the film and the team of killers who tracked down Ambassador Chris Stevens.

The Obama administration is desperate to avoid linkage between predator strikes in Pakistan and the deliberate revenge killing in Benghazi. That would undermine all their assertions about the collapse of al Qaeda. It would bring into doubt their claims for an Arab Spring democracy movement. If this is an act of war, as I asserted last week in Politico, then all the Obama and media assertions about “senseless violence” begin to look as shallow, silly and self-deceiving as they are.

Second, the last week of violence stretching from London to Australia is a signal about the depth of anti-American and anti-Western passion among radical Islamists.

The silly anti-Muslim film was an excuse for violence not the cause of it. It joins the Danish cartoon incident as another example of the deliberate use of Western freedom as an excuse for violence.

The Iranian announcement that they had increased the bounty for killing Salman Rushdie for his novels was one more piece of this violence against any challenge to Islamic supremacy.

We have to be clear that the real problem is not the movie but the hatred, the bigotry, the mass hysteria of religious fanatics who see their values threatened by modernity and are in a desperate fight to impose their values on the world.

Third, the very dangerous game the Obama administration and the elite media are playing in suggesting that we censor American words and American art in order to appease Muslim religious fanatics has to be directly challenged.

As a Christian, these same left wing media elites have lectured me for years about the authenticity of “art” involving Christ immersed in urine or Mary smeared with elephant dung. We have been told again and again that we have to put blasphemous speech and obscenely offensive items in taxpayer funded museums.

Now these same left wingers are explaining that it is OK to censor in order to appease Muslims. The White House is begging Google to remove the video from YouTube.

No American should tolerate this hypocritical double standard.

Al-Qaida Website Urges Muslims to Kill US Diplomats

Al-Qaida Website Urges Muslims to Kill US Diplomats

Saturday, September 15, 2012 05:38 PM
The Yemen-based branch of al-Qaida urged Muslims to step up protests and kill more U.S. diplomats in Muslim countries after a U.S.-made film mocking the Prophet Mohammad which it said was another chapter in the “crusader wars” against Islam.

“Whoever comes across America’s ambassadors or emissaries should follow the example of Omar al-Mukhtar’s descendants (Libyans), who killed the American ambassador,” the group said, referring to Tuesday’s attack on the U.S. consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi.

“Let the step of kicking out the embassies be a step towards liberating Muslim countries from the American hegemony,” a statement posted on an Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) website on Saturday said.

Fury about the film swept across the Middle East after Friday prayers, with protesters attacking U.S. embassies and in protests that killed at least seven people and prompted Washington to send troops to bolster security at its missions.

“The film published in America which insults our Prophet

Mohammad, peace be upon him, comes as part of the continuing crusader wars against Islam,” AQAP’s statement said, referring to European wars in the region some 1,000 years ago.

“The incident is so huge that the resources of the nation should be pooled together to kick out the embassies of America from Muslim lands,” it said.

AQAP, mostly militants mainly from Yemen and Saudi Arabia, is regarded by the United States as the most dangerous branch of the network founded by Osama bin Laden.

The group has used Yemen, a key regional U.S. ally, to plot attacks on the United States. Washington has backed a Yemeni army campaign that drove al Qaeda and its allies from their southern stronghold this year.

Muslims have blamed the U.S. government for the amateurish film of obscure origin. Washington has condemned the film and said it does not condone any insult to any religion.

Praising the attacks by angry demonstrators in Libya, Egypt, Yemen and Sudan on U.S. and other Western missions as “natural responses to a huge insult”, the statement said that American embassies should be burned and diplomats killed.

It said defending the Prophet’s honor was a “religious duty and obligation to the Muslim nation, each according to his ability”.
The group also said that Muslims living in the West have an extra duty to be involved in attacks on key targets.

“They are more capable of doing harm and reaching the enemy is easier for them,” it said.

Impoverished Yemen is struggling against challenges on many fronts since mass protests forced president Ali Abdullah Saleh to step down last year after decades in power.

The United States, eager to help the country recover from the upheaval that has pushed it to the brink of collapse, has said it would provide $345 million in security, humanitarian and development aid this year, more than double last year.

 Bill Donohue comments as follows:

The pope will be lucky to get out of Lebanon unharmed. Mobs of mad Muslims have taken to the streets of Tripoli condemning Pope Benedict XVI. One person is already dead. So why haven’t we heard anything from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about this religious intolerance? Is it because she is too busy telling us what a “great religion” Islam is?

At a briefing with Morocco’s foreign minister at the State Department, Clinton criticized the anti-Islamic film that is being tied to Muslim violence in the Middle East. She didn’t mince words, saying, “It appears to have a deeply cynical purpose: to denigrate a great religion and to provoke rage.” To which Melinda Henneberger in today’s Washington Post says, “Amen.” Similarly, from the editorial desk of the New York Times, we have these words of wisdom from Roger Cohen: “Since when was extreme bigotry that portrays the followers of one of the world’s great religions as child molesters an American value?”

This kind of sick tilting to Islam, all the while feeling free to bash Catholicism, is operative on the other side of the Atlantic as well. Roger Bolton, who ran religious broadcasting for the BBC for 12 years, said this week that the BBC is afraid to mock Islam but delights in bashing Christianity.

Ever since 9/11, those who claim to be horrified by religious extremism have shown nothing but deference to Islam—even though the mass murderers responsible explicitly carried out their carnage in the name of their religion. Meanwhile, they have shown nothing but contempt for Christianity. When is the last time our elites called Christianity a “great religion” deserving of respect?

Think you’ve heard it all? On the New York Times website today there is a story about the pope’s visit to Lebanon. It says, “In a dark moment in his papacy in 2006, Benedict angered Muslims when on a visit to Germany he quoted a Byzantine emperor who had called Islam ‘evil and inhuman.’” Dark moment or moment of courage?

America, Israel warned their demise is definite and very soon

He is the author of the award winning book “A Time to Betray” and regularly appears in national and international media as an expert on Iran and counterterrorism in the Middle East.

Secretary General of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Mahmoud Hossein has called for protests across Egypt Friday, according to Fars News Agency, the Iranian media outlet run by the Revolutionary Guards.

“This Friday, Egyptian Muslims will conduct peaceful protests outside of the main mosques in every province condemning the insult to Prophet Muhammad,” said Hossein.

Fars News reports the possibility of a widespread protest in the region and said American officials are warning their citizens in the Middle East to remain vigilant and alert.

Protests broke out yesterday in Egypt and Libya over an American film ridiculing Prophet Muhammad though the video has been out for several weeks.

In what seemed to be a coordinated effort, protesters attacked the U.S. embassy in Egypt and the U.S. consulate in Libya on Tuesday, killing the American ambassador and three staffers.

In scenes eerily similar to the U.S. embassy takeover in Tehran after the 1979 Islamic revolution, Egyptian protesters climbed the wall of the U.S. compound and tore down the American flag, replacing it with an Islamic flag.

It was reported yesterday that just last month, U.S. intelligence agencies monitored a meeting between officials of the Egyptian and Iranian intelligence ministries, raising the specter that the newly installed Muslim Brotherhood government in Cairo could be secretly backing terrorism worldwide. Members of the anti-Muslim Brotherhood opposition believe Barack Obama has signed off on a covert agreement to support the Morsi government.

At the same time the Organization of the Mobilization of the Oppressed – the Basij of the Islamic regime in Iran – put out a statement urging Muslims throughout the world to show their anger against America.

The statement declared that, in revenge, the “filthy regime of America” because of its repeated defeats from the great Islamic front, has insulted the sanctity of Islam, hurting the feelings of the Islamic world.

Referring to the video ridiculing Prophet Muhammad, the Basij called it an act of conspiracy to insult Muslims to incite a religious war in Egypt. The statement praised the Egyptian Muslims for understanding the motives of the “Great Satan,” and in showing their anger toward America.

Basij then warns America and Israel that their demise and destruction is definite and very soon and that nothing will stop their ultimate fate. The statement continues that these acts … will only raise awareness worldwide toward the truth about what it calls “The Islam of Muhammad” and the oppressors will unite under the flag of Islam to take revenge against the murderous regimes (Israel and America).

In conclusion the statement urges all Muslims to show their hatred and anger against America and urges God to hasten the coming of the last Islamic Messiah in defense of Islam.

The Basij organization has been charged by Human Rights Watch with widespread violations of human rights against the Iranian people. Its commander, Gen. Naghdi, is also on the U.S. Treasury Department’s sanctions list for human rights abuses in Iran.

It is important to note that these protests come after Egyptian President Mohamad Morsi’s recent visit to Iran on Aug. 30 when he attended the meeting of the None Aligned Movement.

Islamists Storm US Egyptian Embassy, US Apologizes

Islamists Storm US Egyptian Embassy, US Apologizes

         by Dana Loesch11 Sep 2012

After an angry mob stormed the U.S. embassy in Cairo and tore down the American flag, the embassy apologized for provoking the mob and condemned the free speech back across the Atlantic which hurt the mob’s feelings.

Egyptian demonstrators climbed the walls of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo today and pulled down the American flag to protest a film they say is insulting to the prophet Mohammad.

Reuters reports that protesters tried to raise a black flag carrying the slogan: “There is no god but Allah and Mohammad is his messenger.”

The news agency says about 2,000 protesters have gathered outside the embassy and about 20 have scaled the walls.

The AP says the protesters were largely ultra-conservative Islamists.

Iran’s FARS news agency says the film is the work of a group of “extremist” members of the Egyptian Coptic Church in the United States.

Al Ahram online says the film is reportedly being produced by U.S.-based Coptic-Christian Egyptians, including Esmat Zaklama and Morees Sadek, with the support of the Terry Jones Church in the United States.

Jones is the evangelical pastor who stirred controversy last year by threatening to burn a Quran in public.

CNN says the film in question is a Dutch production.

In place of the U.S. flag, the protesters tried to raise a black flag with the words “There is no God but God, and Mohammad is his messenger”, a Reuters witness said.

Once the U.S. flag was hauled down, some protesters tore it up and showed off pieces to television cameras. Others burned the remains outside the fortress-like embassy building in central Cairo. But some protesters objected to the flag burning.

Many Muslims consider any depiction of the Prophet to be offensive.

“This movie must be banned immediately and an apology should be made,” said 19-year-old Ismail Mahmoud, a member of the so-called “ultras” soccer supporters who played a big role in the uprising that brought down Hosni Mubarak last year.

It seems Islamists in Egypt are confusing an abuse of free speech with the non-existent right to not be offended. From Reuters:

Although it was not clear which film prompted the protests …

They’re not even sure why they’re storming the walls.

Our own embassy responded by lying prostrate before the fundamentalists who are enacting their Theo Van Gogh brand of bullying:

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others

The theocratic basis of their new government has absolutely no affect on our freedom of speech, which says that if someone wants to put a cross in a jar of urine and call it “art,” they have the right to do so. It’s the freedom of expression which we are granted by our Constitution, and a foreign entity’s dogmatic interpretation of what is or is not free speech as it relates to their religion is wholly irrelevant. That our foreign embassy would pull a President Obama and bow to the demands of fundamentalists who find no offense in murder over religion — fundamentalists who backed the extremist Muslim Brotherhood candidate that this administration endorsed — is antithetical to our freedoms.

Of course, this is from an administration who endorsed Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt’s new leading political party who not only fosters an abuse of women, oppression of Coptic Christians, murder of gays for existing, and crucifixion of political opponents and will be welcoming their leader, President Morsi, to Washington D.C. this month.
