Obama Releases Hezbollah Terrorist…

Rep Allen West President Obama’s release of a known Hezbollah terrorist is an “utter betrayal”

(WASHINGTON)– Congressman Allen West (R-FL) released this statement today after sending a letter to President Barack Obama condemning the Administration’s release, to the Iraqi court system, of a known Hezbollah terrorist responsible for the murder of an Army officer and four other service members:

“It is with great disappointment and concern that I write to President Barack Obama today with regards to Ali Musa Daqduq and the decision by the Administration to release this madman to an Iraqi court, who in turn set this known terrorist free.

Ali Musa Daqduq led a well-planned and coordinated attack in Karbala, Iraq in 2007 in which one American soldier, Captain Brian Freeman, was killed and four other service members were abducted and later murdered.

The Administration mistakenly used the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), which required Iraqi citizens to be handed over to Iraq before December of 2011, as a reasoning for Daqduq’s release to an Iraqi court. However, since Ali Musa Daqduq was born in Lebanon, and was in fact a Lebanese citizen at the time of his capture, SOFA should not have applied to him.

As someone who served 22 years in the United States Army and served in both Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, I can tell you that true leadership means making responsible decisions, not necessarily popular ones. The President had options when dealing with this terrorist. Daqduq could have been transferred to Guantanamo Bay where he could have been tried in front of a military commission.

The fact that our President makes these kinds of decisions, while American soldiers like Michael Behenna, William Hunsaker, and Joseph Mayo remain imprisoned at Fort Leavenworth for incidents that occurred during the heat of battle, is pure hypocrisy.

I find the release of Ali Musa Daqduq to be an utter betrayal, not only to those who perished at the hands of this terrorist, but to all men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I ask President Obama for a prompt and personal response to this decision. As the Commander-in-Chief, he owes the American people nothing less.”

Through the Looking Glass

“The time has come,” the Walrus said,
“To talk of many things:
Of shoes–and ships–and sealing-wax–
Of cabbages–and kings–

That line from Lewis Carroll’s “The Walrus and the Carpenter”
Came to me when I was trying to find something to write about. I think the connection lies in the fact that there is so much to talk and write about.

So much is going on that personally affects us. I feel like I would like to find the hole that Alice accidently fell down, and, with pleasure, jump in. Yet, when I look around, there is no need to look for a fantasy wonderland, I think we are already at a picnic with the Mad Hatter.

The politicians are having a field day with the Tea Party and Tweedledum and Tweedledee are twiddling there thumbs as the country shrinks down to the size of the Mouse in the teacup. The country’s debt is beginning to look like Alice with her feet and arms protruding from the windows and doors of the house she outgrew.

Oh yea, and there is Humpty Dumpty, a thin shelled egg who sits on a very narrow wall so thin I think it is a fence. He is proud, sometimes rude, easily offended and is a master of words. In the end, I think, he will fall off of the wall.

Well, maybe I am like the Mock Turtle, I seem to be a bit sad and I cry occasionally.
Every time we think small, big things happen; every time we think big, small things happen. I think we should stop trying to enter doors too small for us to fit through and stop trying to achieve things that are out of reach. Also, for goodness sake, do not consume things that read, “Drink me!” or “Eat me!” And above all, if you hear someone scream, “Off with his head!” Get a rope ladder and get the hell out of there. Wake-up! Wake-up!

Golden Eggs and the Right to Protest

Golden Eggs and the Right to Protest
By: Eugene A. Santoro

It is our constitutional right to peacefully protest, with the proper permits, in the United States of America.
Protesting is a way to be noticed and heard after trying to talk to deaf ears.
Protests hardly ever seem to involve two peaceful parties; one party seems to eventually become over enthusiastic or even violent. From revolutionary times to the present day the government, of The United States of America, has been shaken by peaceful or violent protests.

We have been attacked, on our soil, by the British, Japanese, Arab Terrorists, and our own American born terrorists. Each conflict was initially begun with “in your face” or silent protests of sorts.

We have fought against Fascists, Nazis, and Communists. The Korean War, Vietnam War, The Cold War, were wars, basically, against Communism. Now we seem to have a number of avowed communists coming out of the woodwork and protesting against our form of government. Some of these people hate capitalism, especially Wall Street, they hate specific ethnic groups and religions, some even hate the United States, its political parties, and its capitalistic form of government. The majority have various specific gripes with the government. The whole situation seems to be chaotic, yet organized groups are there for support. Being about 77 years old, this all feels and seems very familiar.

When anyone in the world needs help we seem to give money and lives to protect their human rights. If we damage their country’s infrastructure we pay to repair the damage. Even countries we were at war with, we have helped them to recover and get back to some kind of normalcy. Is there another country in this world that will do that? What other country does this in the name of freedom? The United States of America seems to be the goose that lays the golden eggs.

As that story goes, the owners, of this special goose, decided it took too long for the goose to lay the eggs, instead of waiting for it to produce the slow bounty of golden ovals, they decided to kill the goose, open it up, and retrieve all of the un laid eggs. Of course, once the goose was killed the golden eggs were gone forever. The moral of this story is, “When you protest, make sure you do not destroy the goose that lays the golden eggs.”

Are We Giving Home Security a Bad Name?

I feel like an apple being grated away, too much, too fast. My skin has been infiltrated; the meat of my existence is being intruded upon; soon my center core will be damaged and the seeds of my future will disappear beyond repair. You might say, “What the hell is he talking about?”
What I am trying to do is logically put some of the changes being made, in my country, in the proper perspective. For one, I am looking at the “Illegal Alien” issue; I am trying to make some sense of it all. I am looking at the rational of “Alarm Systems” that we put in our homes to prevent illegal entry. These systems sound an alarm when someone is trying to enter one’s home without permission. When the alarm is actuated and heard, the proper authorities are notified. The offender is scared off or apprehended, tried, and put in jail. These offenders are generally US citizens.
Why isn’t this procedure used for people entering our country illegally, without permission? We are a free republic with individual rights; we are the crucible of the world, a melting pot for all who wish to come here. Even the crucible has had the slag removed before it is poured out into a mold.

Malice in Wonderland

Malice in WonderlandI went to sleep last night, and when I woke up America was gone.

The great people of my country were gone and in their place were underlings.

We had become servants and subordinates of the government.

We were regarded as of little worth or importance; we were puppets, cared for, fed by, clothed by, housed by, educated by and evaluated by the government.

They decided if one was born and when one would die.  There were no taxes because all your earnings went to the government and they gave you what they decided you needed.  Utilities were rationed and one decided how much to use, if you ran out, well, you ran out.  Our land was called “Utopialand.”  Utopialand was an ideal and perfect land where everyone lives in harmony and everything is for the best.  There are no rich, no poor, no need to think or innovate, no reason to compete, no reason to plan.

Then I woke up and realized the United States is vanishing.  Welcome to Utopialand.

Dutch to Abandon Multiculturalism

Go Dutch ~ “The government shares the social dissatisfaction over the multicultural society model and plans to shift priority to the values of the Dutch people. In the new integration system, the values of the Dutch society play a central role.”

Go Dutch

The Netherlands , where six per cent of the population is now Muslim, is scrapping multiculturalism:
The Dutch government says it will abandon the long-standing model of multiculturalism that has encouraged Muslim immigrants to create a parallel society within the Netherlands .

A new integration bill, which Dutch Interior Minister Piet Hein Donner presented to parliament on June 16, reads: “The government shares the social dissatisfaction over the multicultural society model and plans to shift priority to the values of the Dutch people. In the new integration system, the values of the Dutch society play a central role.”

With this change, the government steps away from the model of a multicultural society.

The letter continues: “A more obligatory integration is justified because the government also demands that from its own citizens.  It is necessary because otherwise the society gradually grows apart and eventually no one feels at home anymore in the Netherlands…..

The new integration policy will place more demands on immigrants. For example, immigrants will be required to learn the Dutch language, and the government will take a tougher approach to immigrants who ignore Dutch values or disobey Dutch law.  The government will also stop offering special subsidies for Muslim immigrants because, according to Donner;

“It is not the government’s job to integrate immigrants.” (How bloody true).

The government will introduce new legislation that outlaws forced marriages and will also impose tougher measures against Muslim immigrants who lower their chances of employment by the way they dress.

More specifically, the government will impose a ban on face-covering, Islamic burqas as of January 1, 2013. Holland has done that whole liberal thing, and realised – maybe too late – that creating a nation of tribes will kill the nation itself.

The future of Australia , the UK and Canada may well be read here.

READERS NOTE: Muslim immigrants leave their countries of birth because of civil and political unrest “CREATED BY THE VERY NATURE OF THEIR CULTURE.”

Countries like Holland Canada the UK and Australia have an established way of life that actually works, so why embrace the unworkable? If Muslims do not wish to accept another culture, the answer is simple;  “STAY WHERE YOU ARE!!”

This gives a whole new meaning to the term; ‘Dutch Courage’ – Unfortunately Australian UK and Canadian politicians don’t have the … guts to do the same. There’s a whole lot of truth here!!!!
